Supply, load and existing condition.
Four services, with the credentials shown and the inspection arranged.
A new or substantially altered installation must be examined by an accredited body and found compliant before it is put into service. We book it, correct anything recorded, arrange re-inspection and hand over the report. A contractor who finishes and leaves the inspection as somebody else's problem has left you with an installation you cannot lawfully use.
Supply, load and existing condition.
To the regulations in force.
By an accredited body.
Handed over before use.
To the space, not the catalogue.
Certificate and registration shown.
Charged under both.
Leak checks where required.
This is where the two-part requirement bites. The technician needs a certificate of the right category and the company needs to be registered as a refrigeration undertaking. Many installers hold one and assume it covers the other. We hold both and will show you both, and we carry out the leak checking that applies above the thresholds.
A heat pump sized by habit rather than by the building performs badly for its whole life, so we size to the actual heat demand and say when a building needs insulating first. On premiums we state the specification we will install and nothing more: entitlement is the granting authority's decision and conditions change, so promising a grant is not ours to do.
Calculated, not assumed.
Sometimes insulate first.
Commissioned and balanced.
Specification handed over.
Load-bearing, or not.
Appropriate to the material.
Or refer if outside scope.
What was done, and how.
Repairing a gate and repairing something that holds a load are different jobs with different rules. Where a component is load-bearing and falls within the harmonised standard for structural steelwork, the requirements on factory production control, execution class and welding coordination apply. We say which category an item is in rather than implying certification across everything.
